To inspire| Bedroom

Every once in a while I think about changing something in my bedroom. About two years ago what started with me wanting to change the bed to the opposite wall ended with me (alone) changing the entire bedroom. Since organizing space it's what I do, I've been thinking about changing it again. Sometimes I'm thinking of ways to organize a small space at the office and I think to myself "You should do something about your bedroom as well, go for it!" (This kind of energy lasts for about 2 seconds, and I never do anything about it). I know someday I'll do it, so here's my future plans:
1- As soon as I get the chance I'll change the furniture I own now for the one my grandparants recently decided to give me. It's from the 60's and it's absolutley gorgeous. Very nordic vibe.
2- I still have one red wall in my bedroom from that time when I watched "The faboulous destiny of Amelie Poulain" for the first time (if you have never watched this movie , stop reading now and go watch it! You can thank me later) and got obsessed with it (it ended with my father, grandfather and I, painting a wall all afternoon at my apartment). As much as I love that movie (and I really do, from the music to her wardrobe and cute- tiny- super french apartment), I got tired of it. Red is such a strong colour and since I moved the bed it's the firts thing I see when I wake up. Everthing in white is what I really want- walls and door- it will give the illusion of a more luminous space, it will also appear to be bigger (that's everthing you want when you have a small bedroom)
3- Some new items to complement the style I'm going for

Here's my list of some of the items for the bedroom;

Orikomi lamp/ Caulo/ FermLiving arrow flag/ Zara Home/ Charles Eames inspired chair/ Diptyque Ibaes candle

I need to improve my photoshop skills to be able to do this type of image (clearly!!), but I had fun doing it while I was gathering all the items I've been in love with for ages, so maybe I'll do it more often! (I hope!)

And here's more inspirational images with that beautiful lamp

Aaaaand we're back to food, I apologize to all two or three of you that usually read my styff! (ahah). This is what happens when your boss lets you work at home and then send all your drawings by email by the end of the day:
step 1- "Well at least I'm doing it at my own home"
step 2- sh**- this is too much work to do in one day!
step 3- I can't do this
setp 4- I need chocolate
step 5- "You can't have chocolate!"
step6- You end up in the kitchen doing something with cholocate (at least it's healthy. I found this recipe online here).
Am I the only one?

To inspire- Home.

I'm one of those people who can't turn off when they leave work and come back home, and for that reason, I'm always thinking of ways to rearrange things at home. If I could I would design and build some new shelves or a new chair or even a couch. Since I can't, I would be glad to pick some new items just to achieve that feeling that something is different somehow

So If I could pick them, here's my list of what I would choose:

~Zara Home

~Trendy Pillows

Inspirational images by FermLiving- Oh if I could... I would get all of these Tea/Coffee series inspired by Bahaus Classics:

Gorgeous! This is what great design looks like.

I'm really trying to get better at both - cooking and photographing- among other things - let me see, architecture stuff at work; drawing; reading more; speaking more languages;etc no wonder I'm exausted all the time afff!- but it isn't alwalys that easy.

Things you go through on your first job:

- You have to work at the desk that belongs to your boss because they don't have one for you yet. He asks you to go to youtube because "the room needs music". You get to see the list of all kind-of-porny videos he's been watching. At work.
- After hours staring at the computer designing tiny pieces he asks if you want to take a break. You think "That's kind of sweet that he's worried that I might be tired", turns out he just wants you to google how much the big boss payed for the chair in his office. He swears it's really expansive because it was designed by a famous architect, but you're not finding anything. He makes you call every store he can thinks of that might have the said chair. When you're finally done with it, you're even more tired than before. (Yes, the chair was really expansive).
- By the end of the day he makes you go with him and confront the big boss about the chair. Gets a new table.
- You arrive home feeling like you were hit by a train.
